All insurance plans are different. If you would like to use your insurance for medications please call your insurance company prior to your appointment. You will need to know if weight loss medications are covered, which medications are on formulary, and if there are any requirements that must be met for approval. Having this information ahead of time will make the process much smoother.

We only accept the following payment methods: Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover. You may also use your HSA card. No checks or money orders will be accepted. You may be eligible for financing on AESTHETICS procedures through Cherry Financing.

Yes, but only for short periods of time and for patients who are appropriate. You must also have at least one in-person visit per year in accordance with the new DEA guidelines.
  • How does the process for getting compounded medication work?
Compounded medications are ordered from a specialty compounding pharmacy. The medications and supplies will be shipped to your house. Your credit card will be charged for the medications at the time the order is placed.
  • How do I get refills?
You must have a follow up visit to get medication refills. No exceptions! I do not send in refills without 1st checking your progress and tolerance of the medication. Please allow plenty of time for shipping if you are taking compounded medications. Do not wait until the last minute to schedule your follow up appointment.
  • Do you need labs?
Yes, if you are starting weight loss or hormone replacement therapy you will need labs that have been completed in the last 6 months. Please bring labs with you to your appointment. If you have a telehealth appointment scheduled you will be instructed on how to upload copies of your labs. If you do not have recent lab work available you will be provided with orders to have lab work done. Please get this completed ASAP. If you are cash pay or do not want to file with your insurance we can draw your labs in the office at a discounted rate. Please plan to schedule an in person visit if we need to draw your labs.

Avoid blood-thinning medications for a couple of days prior such as Ibuprofen, Aleve, and supplements including St. John’s Wort, Gingko Biloba, primrose oil, garlic, ginseng, and Vitamin E. If you are on a medically indicated blood thinner stay on it, but consult with your provider ahead of time or day of the procedure Do not drink alcoholic beverages on the day of the procedure. Arrive with a clean face, please wash your face prior to your appointment If you have previously suffered from facial cold sores, there is a risk that the needle punctures could contribute to another eruption of cold sores. Please start your anti- viral medication 3 days prior to your injection and let your nurse practitioner know if you are prone. You should avoid treatments if you are pregnant, are allergic to any ingredients, or suffer from neurological disorders.
  • Can I do a telehealth visit if I live in another state?
No, at this time I am only licensed to practice in Texas. If you live out of state you would have to be seen in person to receive treatment.
