All insurance plans are different. If you would like to use your insurance for medications please call your insurance company prior to your appointment. Having this information ahead of time will make the process much smoother.

  • How does the process for getting compounded medication work?
Compounded medications are ordered from a specialty compounding pharmacy. The medications and supplies will be shipped to your house. Your credit card will be charged for the medications at the time the order is placed.
  • How do I get refills?
You must have a follow up visit to get medication refills. No exceptions! I do not send in refills without 1st checking your progress and tolerance of the medication. Please allow plenty of time for shipping if you are taking compounded medications. Do not wait until the last minute to schedule your follow up appointment.
  • Do you need labs?
Yes, if you are starting weight loss or hormone replacement therapy you will need labs that have been completed in the last 6 months. Please bring labs with you to your appointment. If you have a telehealth appointment scheduled you will be instructed on how to upload copies of your labs. If you do not have recent lab work available you will be provided with orders to have lab work done. Please get this completed ASAP. If you are cash pay or do not want to file with your insurance we can draw your labs in the office at a discounted rate. Please plan to schedule an in person visit if we need to draw your labs.
